What is my intention here?
This post tries to clarify what my intention is here, in my personal blog. Working many years in the software industry brings you the sense that no one is entirely right a hundred percent of the time and every exclamation in some aspect will be wrong.
So, I want to use this blog to document my learning process and share it with people on the same road.
My main intention here is not to teach you how to do anything but to show you the possible ramifications of each topic or hypothesis of study.
I will try to follow a pre-defined structure in every blog post. Here is the explanation of each section:
Hypothesis
The hypothesis section aims to outline the reasons why I began studying a particular topic. In this section, I am not trying to prove any assumption or statement as correct, but rather to define which hypotheses I intend to test throughout the study.
Exploration of the Topic
In the exploration stage, anything can happen. This is when sources and studies arrive in an unstructured manner, and my goal here is to organize the reading process and outline the conclusions I reached from analyzing each source. The analysis at this stage will not be opinion-based, but rather a report on the material I am consuming from my study sources.
Sources of information
In the information sources section, I will document the best sources of information on the main topic and its related aspects. The idea is to curate which sources can truly be used to learn about the subject and which ones genuinely contributed to the analysis process.
Emerging questions
Every topic will eventually raise new questions or lead to further developments, and in my view, the process of addressing these questions is what truly deepens learning. Therefore, this section will contain the questions that emerged from reading and analyzing the information found in the sources used.
Key Takeaways
Every analysis and study can potentially lead to a change or the formation of a stance on a given topic. In this section, I will try to summarize my key takeaways from the study and what I will carry forward as the main lessons learned.
Future Directions
It’s important to set boundaries for a study to avoid entering an endless cycle of analysis. Therefore, in this section, I will document topics that likely deserve to be studied separately but that emerged from the subject currently being analyzed.
This structure was initially defined without much experience with this writing format, and I may improve it over time. My main goal is to remain impartial throughout the analyses and to arrive at insights based on the most reliable sources of information.
